Hi, my name is Aminta. I've been a dental assistant since 2018. I started working with Dr. Tipton in 2020. My favorite part about working here is how everyone is so welcoming as soon as you step in the office. My husband, Adrian and I have two young boys. When not at work I love spending time with my family.
I have worked in the dental field for over thirty years. I work part-time for Dr. Tipton because I wasn't ready for full-time retirement. My husband, Chuck and I have three adult daughters and four grandsons. When I'm not working you may find my dancing, sewing or out "glamping" with our vintage trailers.
Hello, I am the face that greets you when you enter the office. I handle the scheduling, insurance and billing portion of our office. I have been with Dr. Tipton since September 1997. What I love about our office is we are extended family, we open our arms and hearts to our patients. My husband was injured in an MVA in June 2004. Patients always ask about my husband, that is what kind of closeness I have with our patients.
For the last 15 years I have worked as a Registered Dental Hygienist, licensed in Oregon and Idaho. I am a local girl, born in Boise, and raised in Ontario. I began my secondary education at TVCC and then transferred to the University of Idaho where I completed my Bachelors of Science in Biology. After working as an oral surgery assistant, I studied dental hygiene at American Institute of Health Technologies. I have been with High Desert Dental for the last seven years where I specialize in non-surgical periodontal procedures. I enjoy helping people achieve dental heath and preventing disease. My favorite part of the job is the personal relationships I have with my patients and other staff members. My personal hobbies include gardening, reading, paddle-boarding, traveling, just about any adventure outdoors and chasing my three daughters in their own interests.

I graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1998. I've been working as a hygienist for 22 years and have been with Dr. Tipton for 16 of those. My favorite part of the job is patient care. I enjoy assisting our patients in bettering their oral health. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends and crafting.
Dr. Rhett Tipton grew up in Ontario and graduated from Ontario High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Gonzaga University. He graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry in 1995. He returned to Ontario and took over the dental practice of Roy J. Kondo the same year. Dr. Tipton built the High Desert Dental office and moved his dental practice in 2003.
