Reverse Decay and Refresh Your Smile

We work passionately toward creating the most youthful smiles for patients.

Fillings

If your teeth have cavities and you need fillings, we offer both amalgam (metal) or composite (tooth-colored) options. If your teeth are damaged in a way that makes it impossible to reconstruct them with fillings or you are missing one or more teeth, we can return the smile to your face as well as a strong bite and speaking ability with the use crowns, bridges or implants.

Crowns and Bridges

A crown is a cover or "cap" Dr. Tipton can put on a tooth.  The crown restores your tooth to its normal shape, size, and function. The purpose of a crown is to make the tooth stronger or improve the way it looks.

A bridge replaces missing teeth with artificial teeth and literally "bridges" the gap where one or more teeth used to be. Crowns and bridges can be made from gold, porcelain, or a composite material. An implant bridge attaches artificial teeth directly to the jaw.

Root Canals

Root canal treatment is designed to eliminate bacteria from the infected root canal, prevent reinfection of the tooth and save the natural tooth. When one undergoes a root canal, the inflamed or infected pulp is removed and the inside of the tooth is carefully cleaned and disinfected, then filled and sealed.

Removable Prosthetics

There are different types of dentures, but they share their common function. They replace teeth that have become loose or been lost due to bone loss. When bone loss around the roots of teeth is great enough to loosen them or let them fall out, it's time for dentures. Don't worry. No one enjoys losing their natural teeth, but you can still eat and talk regularly.

The entire mouth is examined and a determination is made as to which teeth will have to be removed, and which will remain. The loose teeth are then extracted. Dentures are fitted to go over or around whatever teeth remain in the mouth, depending on the type. There is an adjustment period after dentures are placed in the mouth, and it can take some getting used to. But once accustomed to the dentures, all the normal functionality and appearance return and one just carries on as usual. Often implants can used to further stabilize the dentures.
